Simulation of jaw movement and consideration of dynamic occlusion – A The Virtual Articulator enables dynamic occlusion to be taken into account when planning restorations for any type of occlusion. The positioning of the stone models within the physical articulator can be accurately transferred to the software – using a scanner that also supports virtual articulation – to achieve perfect, patient-specific results. Parameters such as the condylar angle, the Bennett angle and immediate lateral displacement can be adjusted in the same way as on a physical articulator. To import jaw movement data from third-party measurement devices, the Virtual Articulator module can be combined with the Jaw Movement Import module.
