Alashraf Basel has over 10 years’ experience in using and teaching Exocad® software. Over the past few years, he has led more than 50 successful training courses, during which hundreds of dental technicians and dentists have learnt the basics and advanced techniques of digital design from him.
His professional expertise and practical approach are further strengthened by the experience he has gained through his day-to-day laboratory work; as a result, he imparts not only theoretical knowledge but also genuine, practical skills during his teaching. Basel is committed to ensuring that every participant can use the Exocad programme confidently and effectively in their own work. He continuously updates his skills through Exocad’s official training courses and presentations.
Exocad beginner basic training
The Exocad DentalCAD basic training course is aimed at those who wish to use the software with confidence in their day-to-day dental laboratory work. During the course, participants will be introduced, step by step, to the structure of the programme and its key functions.
As part of the practical training, participants will learn how to scan and design single-unit crowns, as well as how to fabricate bridges in three styles – framework, reduced and anatomical. The course provides a detailed overview of the various reduction methods and functions, as well as the design of telescopic crowns and shoulder restorations.
Participants gain an insight into the use of sliders and docking systems, thereby gaining a comprehensive understanding of the software’s capabilities. The training is practice-oriented and takes place in small groups (maximum 5 people) in a friendly atmosphere; everyone works at their own workstation, and we provide all the necessary equipment during the course.
At the end of the day, participants will receive a certificate confirming their basic knowledge of Exocad, which will serve as a foundation for taking further advanced courses – such as those on dental implants.
Price: 150,000 HUF + VAT, which includes tuition, and during the day provision.
Exocad advanced implant course
The Exocad Implant course is aimed at those who are already confident users of the Exocad software and wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of implant planning. The aim of the course is to familiarise participants with the complete digital workflow for implant cases – from scanning to the design of complex circular bridges and full-arch restorations.
During the programme, we will demonstrate the scanning and design of scan markers, the fabrication of markerless, through-screw crowns and custom abutments, as well as the practical application of implant-supported full-arch bridges and pre-operative functions. Participants will learn how to plan All-on-4 and All-on-6 cases using gingival contouring, and will also gain an insight into the process of rescaning trial works.
The course is small-group, intensive and practice-oriented, and takes place in a friendly, informal setting in Budapest’s 15th district. At the end of the course, every participant receives a certificate confirming the knowledge they have gained in the implantology module, enabling them to become confident practitioners in their day-to-day work.
Price: 150,000 HUF + VAT, which includes tuition, and during the day provision.
