A 5MP camera for capturing every detail
Although both offer the same 5MP resolution, the quality of the output data differs. The data from the ultra-high-resolution 5MP camera is sharper and more accurate. This innovative technology boosts user productivity by generating true high-resolution data, reducing the error rate and shortening workflow times. Furthermore, the FREEDOM X5 optimises the angles between the camera and the projector to scan even the narrowest and deepest parts of the model. The fastest scanning speed
The scanning time refers to the total data output time, including both the scanning and data processing stages. Unlike other scanners, which require additional time for data processing after scanning, the FREEDOM X5 significantly reduces this time, as the scanning and data extraction processes take place simultaneously.

Vibrant colour scanning
As the 5-megapixel camera reproduces the model’s colours vividly, the scanner is extremely useful for scanning outline drawings or partial models.
Intuitive and intelligent scanning software – ScanApp X
ScanApp is an intuitive and user-friendly piece of software designed specifically for DOF scanners. It enables various and complex clinical cases to be scanned more quickly and easily.

Articulator scanning
The scan is configured to reproduce the occlusal relationship (dimension) in its current form. As hinged articulators commonly used in clinical practice can also be employed, working time can be reduced.

Interproximal scanning
Thanks to the interproximal scanning function, it captures distortion-free data from the interproximal areas. It is extremely useful for the fabrication of orthodontic appliances, full dentures and partial dentures.

Dental examination
When the denture is placed on the plate, the scanner scans both the inner and outer surfaces of the denture and then merges the two images. This enables the denture to be reproduced quickly.

Fingerprint scanning
It is capable of scanning narrow and deep impressions, and automatically aligning front and rear scan data using DOF’s unique scanning technology.

All-in-One scanning
It scans the maxilla, mandible and prosthetic restorations all at once, reducing working time by up to 50%.

Spacer plate
It offers a splint option for reproducing the clinical condition of the occlusal relationship.

Post&Core scanning
