Exocad Perpetual Licence – Model Designer Module
Creating physical models from digital impression scans – the exocad model design module helps to create physical models from intraoral scan data or impression scans. The design of both models with removable segments (using pre-fabricated bases) and monolithic models (where the prepared instrument is either removable or a separate verification instrument) is supported. When combined with the implant module, the model-making module enables the creation of models featuring laboratory analogues and removable gingival masks.

Various model/tool styles are available: Choose from a range of different base plates for segmented or plate-less models. Design your tools to be detachable, or build a complete model using a second, custom tool set. The exported files are fully compatible with all open-source 3D printers and are supported by numerous market-leading 3D printing service providers with specialised parameter settings.
Creating models using implant analogues: Design models for implant cases using laboratory analogues; you can even add removable gingival masks or use custom, self-designed abutments as instruments.

Full dental arch, upper and lower models: The highly intuitive wizard-based workflow guides you through every step of the design process. Even designing models simultaneously is simple and hassle-free.

Labelling models: Choose from a wide range of accessories and use as many as you need. There are numerous connecting clamps, positioning pins and stabilising devices available, and there is even a tool for labelling models.

Hollow models enable extremely cost-effective printing: every model type can be designed in a hollow version, allowing you to save material during the printing process. In addition, there is a rib at the base of the hollow shape to increase the strength of the thin walls.
